Solana’s programmers can’t seem to solve their network problems. Following a multi-day outage of the whole blockchain in January, more than eight-hour disruptions occurred on April 30 and May 1.
The platform is undoubtedly operational at the moment, however the status page says that there have been performance issues since May 12th. Added to this are issues with time indicators inside the blockchain, which has a delay of around 30 minutes on actual time.
This occurrence is due to the fact that the blockchain was just shut down, and the time lost could not yet be made up. This should have no effect on the network’s overall functionality. It might be rather different in the sphere of dApps if certain apps rely on the consistency of the blockchain’s temporal data with real time.
The different project operators who comprise the Solana ecosystem aren’t thrilled about these remaining challenges.
The Zebec project, which began on Solana in 2021, just announced a partnership with the Solana-based community blockchain SafeCoin.
Zebec has created a financial settlement system that permits continuous money flows to be sent to the closest second. A function that helps business owners, employees, and customers. Employees have rapid access to their wages with Zebec Payroll since money is sent on the blockchain rather than through traditional banking middlemen. The creators were successful in developing the world’s first tax-compliant on-chain payroll system.
Sam Thapaliya, the company’s founder and CEO, stated:
“Zebec’s mission is to give everyone, everywhere complete autonomy over their money. Zebec is the payment solution that drives the Web3 digital economy forward and gives everyone unlimited access to their money like never before.”
In the future, Solana’s improved version, SafeCoin, will incorporate Zebec’s multisig cash management. As a result, the financial service provider stays operational even if the Solana blockchain has challenges that were not present with SafeCoin due to code optimization.
It’s also worth mentioning that Zebec is entering the Web3 space, since Flux only announced its relationship with SafeCoin two weeks ago. Flux is a project dedicated solely to the creation of Web3 applications, ranging from decentralized computer networks to websites and dApps.
