Crypto.com (CRO) to Sponsor FIFA World Cup 2022

-

Crypto.com has just signed a partnership with FIFA. The cryptocurrency exchange will be one of the official sponsors of the 2022 World Cup, which will take place in November in Qatar. The company logo will be displayed around the football pitches, in full view of millions of viewers.

Crypto.com, the Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange, has just entered into a partnership with FIFA, the international sports federation that oversees the world of football. As part of this partnership, the exchange will be among the official sponsors of the 2022 World Cup.

“We are delighted to have an international brand like Crypto.com join us as a sponsor of this World Cup in Qatar, which promises to be as unique as it is exciting, and can thus contribute to the development of football internationally. says Kay Madati, FIFA Commercial Director.

According to the press release published by FIFA on March 22, 2022, Crypto.com will be the exclusive sponsor of the event “in the field of cryptocurrency exchange platforms”. No other platform will be part of the official sponsors of the event.

Advertising panels showing the logo of the platform will be visible on the football pitches. Millions of sports fans around the world will see the brand on their televisions.

Thanks to the visibility offered by the World Cup, Crypto.com hopes to swell its investor base. The exchange currently has over 10 million users worldwide.

“To increase awareness of Crypto.com globally, we couldn’t have dreamed better than to sponsor the FIFA World Cup, one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world”, said Kris Marszalek, co-founder and managing director of Crypto. .com.

The competition will take place from November 21 in Qatar. With this agreement, Crypto.com joins the closed club of FIFA partners, which is already made up of several well-known multinationals, including Visa, Coca-Cola, Sony, and Adidas.

Crypto.com to offer 2022 World Cup tickets to its users

The exchange will not just display billboards showing its logo in stadiums. Crypto.com will take advantage of the Worlds 2022 to offer places for meetings to its users. The press release also mentions “exclusive prices”.

This partnership is part of Crypto.com’s extensive advertising campaign to increase its visibility. With this in mind, the exchange has already established several major partnerships with the sports world.

“All over the world, Crypto.com has already demonstrated its ability to support high-level teams and competitions, large-scale events and iconic sites”, underlines the commercial director of FIFA.
