Elon Musk, the wealthy CEO of Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA), has long supported dogecoin. Above all, he wants DOGE to be accepted as payment in more and more scenarios. For a few months now, the Tesla Shop has accepted the token as payment for promotional products.
There will now be another use case for cryptocurrencies, according to Musk. Similar to Tesla merchandise, his business Boring will have its own perfume that can be purchased with Dogecoin. According to Musk, there have already been 10,000 pre-orders for the perfume called “Burnt Hair,” which equates to a revenue of $1,000,000 at a price of $100. (currently 1741 DOGE). Delivery is anticipated to occur in the first quarter of 2019.
