If all goes according to plan for one of the world’s wealthiest men, Musk may accept DOGE payments for Starlink subscribers in the future.
Elon Musk announced his plan to expand the payment option for his space exploration business, SpaceX, just four months after electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla began accepting Dogecoin (DOGE) for product purchases.
Since 2019, Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, has been a vocal proponent of the DOGE ecosystem and has publicly expressed interest in accepting memecoin payments throughout his multibillion-dollar businesses.

As investors try to cash in on the buzz, Musk’s pro-DOGE tweets have historically had an immediate and favorable influence on DOGE’s market pricing. However, in the midst of a gloomy crypto market, the recent disclosure of SpaceX’s plan to accept DOGE payments for items had no impact on the price.
DOGE increased 25% in December 2021 after Musk revealed that Tesla will accept DOGE as payment for items. With similar timetables, the entrepreneur stated that he believes DOGE is a better everyday payment choice than Bitcoin (BTC).

If things work out just as planned, Musk might eventually start allowing DOGE payments for Starlink subscriptions.
Musk has issued a public warning about an ongoing fraud in which attackers have been identified to mimic the entrepreneur and promote phony crypto-shilling films using deepfake technology.
Musk’s deepfake video, which was first uploaded on Twitter, offered a cryptocurrency platform that promised 30% returns on cryptocurrency investments.
Yikes. Def not me.
