Terra luna: anonymous menace do kwon! | investigations begin

Vigilantes or stalkers without evidence? – Anyone can claim to be Anonymous. As in the film V for Vendetta from which this informal nebula is inspired, it is normally a force. But clearly, the “Anonymous” of recent years is far from their first fights – ideologically neutral – on the freedom of the Internet and the fight against paid criminals. After the recent small hacks against Russia, delving into the life of Do Kwon, founder of Terra (LUNA), seems to be their new passion.

It makes you wonder, indeed, if they don’t have a grudge against Terra, given their recent video, published on June 26, 2022. By the way, did you know that “Anonymous” has a verified account on YouTube? Anyway, these almost 4 minutes of the video appear as open threats against Do Kwon.

The biggest problem is that these threats against the founder of Terra (who must be getting used to them) lack substance or even accusations that are even remotely based on new information.

“Do Kwon, if you listen to us, unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done to reverse the damage you have caused. At this point, the only thing we can do is hold you accountable and ensure that you are brought to justice as quickly as possible. (…) Anonymous examines the entire history of Do Kwon since entering cryptocurrency, to see what we can learn and shed light on. »

Even though the video announces that there is “no doubt that there are many more crimes to uncover” about Do Kwon, the short video does not provide any new hard evidence.

On the r/CryptoCurrency subreddit, the reactions translate this non-event: “Anonymous, it’s 95% theatrical posture”, or even “Just empty words, vague sinister sentences followed by zero action. »

All in all, not a great success. Still, just with the UST affair alone (not to mention the collapse of the LUNA), it does seem obvious that Do Kwon will have to be held accountable in court. And without needing Anonymous for that.

Moreover, the South Korean justice did not hear these “Avengers of the Net”. Do Kown and all employees of the Terra project have indeed been banned from leaving South Korea. While their mishandling of the crisis is evident given the results and unnecessarily spent BTC reserves, whales may also have been responsible for the initial indexation loss of the UST, via massive sell-offs.
